03 Apr His Peace
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:7 NIV
There is so much going on on our world right now and it can be so easy to take our eyes off of Jesus because what we are experiencing on the flesh really hurts.
I would like to encourage you to read your Bible every day. Download a Bible app if you don’t have a hard copy. Find a scripture that speaks to what you are suffering and recite it whenever you feel your mind leading you astray. Remember that God promises to care for us, even in difficult times. We are not alone, He will get us through this.
I also want to encourage you to fill your home with worship during this time. We must never stop praising God, even in the lowest valleys. He is worthy of all praise.
I believe that these trying times also present an opportunity to share the Gospel. Many people are scared and they don’t know Jesus. They are starting to question: “What happens when you die?”, “What is this thing called life all about?”, “I feel paralyzed with fear, my business is closed, I don’t know how I am going to feed my family, what do I do?”. We have so many tools that we can use to reach people from the safety of our homes, let us pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide us to reach those who are not yet saved.
Forgive me for worrying. I know that you are greater than the problems of this earth and that I cannot fully comprehend the glory that awaits us. Help me to stand firm in the promises of Your Word. Holy Spirit please guide me in love to those who are lost around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen”
