Healing Scriptures

The world is evolving, and this change is accompanied by several obstacles that seem impossible to overcome. The music of frustration gets intense every day, leaving us broken searching for healing.

Perhaps, you’ve applied the healing balm and therapy the world gives to mend your broken heart, but you still feel broken rather than healed. Do you know why? The world provides interim healing balm, that only solves our problems at a surface level.

The ultimate cure to our broken heart is Jesus Christ. He is the only one who has the power to heal and mend our hearts, no matter how shattered we seem. First, we have to forsake all other sources we have built our hopes on and cling to Jesus, who gives eternal healing balm that revives beyond the surface.

The Bible has the right antidote to heal our spirit. The word of God is our only comfort when we get broken. I am a living testimony of God’s touch when all other sources disappointed me. I got my revival, healing, and strength afresh from studying God’s word. Although healing is a gradual process, which I experienced. Be encouraged that you’re not alone.

Scriptures that bring healing.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. – Jeremiah 29:11

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. -Philippians 4:19

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” – 1 Peter 2:24

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. – 1 Peter 5:7

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. – Psalms 147:3

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. – Matthew 11:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28

Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. – Psalms 55:22

LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me. – Psalms 30:2

I desire that we cultivate the habit of studying the above healing Scriptures daily and meditating upon them. Write them out on sticky notes, and stick them in and around your home, in places that you will regularly see, like your bedside table, dressing mirror, kitchen cupboards, and doorway. This serves as a daily reminder to you. I pray, as you meditate on these Scriptures, you will receive your healing in Jesus’ name.
