07 Oct The God Who Remembers
Early the next morning they arose and worshipped before the Lord and then went back to their home at Ramah. Elkanah lay with Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembered her so in the course of time Hannah conceived and gave birth to a son she named him Samuel saying ” Because l asked the Lord for him” – 1 Samuel 1: 19-20 NIV
Hannah was a woman of prayer and her determination meant that she never stopped until God blessed her by answering those prayers and giving her a son. She had a burning desire in her life and she kept knocking on the door in prayer until God finally answered her.
We all find ourselves in similar situations that consume us, just like Hannah; what is it that is eating you up? Whatever the case is. ladies, let’s take all our burdens to the Lord in prayer, for He is a faithful and merciful Father. God will most definitely come to our aid because He is a God who remembers all. Keep calling, keep knocking, keep seeking and keep asking God for answers, for nothing is impossible with Him. You can trust that He will deliver you, just as He had with Hannah for He is the same God and the wordsays He is God of all, He is still the same and never changes. Cast all your burdens unto Him for He cares for you. Some run to friends and associates when the issues of life burden them, but let’s be the torch bearers, the ones that wait upon the Lord.
But those who wait in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint. – Isaiah 40:31 NIV
If we keep our hope in the Lord, He will always strengthen us. Nothing is too hard for our father, He is our hiding place. Let’s keep abiding in Him and never grow weary when the storms of life come and sweep over us, we will always hide in the rock of ages, Jesus Christ.
What is it that you want to notice a change in your life? Keep trusting the word of God and keep speaking the word, for the word of God works and is never void of power. He will never leave us, nor forsake us, the prince of peace.
Christ in us the Hope of Glory.
