by Lara Silverman Matt Silverman once said to me “Babe, God always writes the best stories.” Let me tell you one now. You see, I started praying for an Armenian Christian husband at age sixteen. But I was always fascinated with God’s chosen people. So what...

There was a period in my life I broke God's heart. A time I thought God had surely forgotten about me. Caught in a web of deceit and betrayal my recovery and restoration was a bloody and tragic one. I grovelled in a murky pit of...

Many readers will recognise the name Louie Giglio as the founder of the Passion conferences and the famous ‘Indescribable’ preacher. In his book, Seeing God as a Perfect Father (an updated and retitled edition of Not Forsaken), Giglio shares truth about God’s fatherhood, our worldly...

In my previous post, I wrote about how we may relate to God the Trinity, by briefly outlining how we may be image bearers of the Trinity through mind, body and spirit, which I would now like to unpack in more detail looking at us as image bearers of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

In 2007 a ministry appointment in a London Church taught me a lesson that remains valuable and changed my perspective on what the Apostle Paul means when he says, “I am poured out for the sake of the Kingdom” (2 Tim 4:6). God indeed requires...

"Cast all your anxiety on Him because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 NIV) There are any number of thoughts that run through my head in a day that induce a feeling of anxiety. For some, anxiety is not only an emotion brought about by...

‘Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.’ Proverbs 31: 30 (NIV). Personally, I long to please God and be praiseworthy in His eyes, but I’ve always struggled with this idea of fearing Him. This is...
