15 Jul Rising Above Limits
Currently, we are being bombarded by so many happenings and issues, and people are facing more and more turmoils – the devil is using people’s lives as his personal playground. My advice to you is to never allow the storms of life to shift your focus and make you compromise your faith.
When you pass through the waters l will be with you and when you pass through the rivers they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire you will not be burned, the flames will not set you ablaze. For l’m the Lord, your God the Holy one of Israel, your Savior l gave Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead. – Isaiah 43: 2-3 NIV
God has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. He will be with us even through our most troubling days, and is always present, in our times of need. Even if you find yourself in problems that you might have put yourself in, it doesn’t matter, because the Lord, our Saviour, is always ready to pluck you out. His love is unconditional.
If you’re feeling weighed down but the impact that other people’s decisions and choices have made on your life, that may feel overwhelming and unfair, don’t despair. Instead, be like a shoot which is forced to germinate and find it’s way out regardless of the circumstances surrounding it. Even when the conditions are harsh it succeeds.
You will survive and make it in life, but only if you remain rooted in the word of God. He can change any situation, and turn around lives for His glory, Jesus is Lord.
You dear children are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. – 1 John 4:4 NIV
Do not be afraid of what might come your way. You are more than a conqueror. You may have tried and failed before, but I encourage you to keep pushing for your victory, and never give up. The greater One lives in you and there is power in persistent prayer.
