21 Oct Journey to Freedom
I’m climbing a mountain to freedom
As I face my struggles and fears
Pursuing a dream and a vision
Of life without anger and tears.
I need courage to climb that mountain
I need someone to show me the way
I need friends to come on this journey
I need God each step of the way.
As I look to this mountain of freedom
I have thoughts and memories to share
You listened, you cared, and you loved me
I found courage just having you there.
So now, as I climb my mountain
I look forward to what I shall see
When I’ve followed a ray of sunshine
And found peace in its mystery.

In our search for peace and happiness, we sometimes need to confront the difficulties of our past. God will bless this journey with loving, understanding people to guide us if we place our trust in him.
I enjoy writing, quilting, gospel music, and being Oma to 8 precious grandchildren. We were a farming family, retiring to Medicine Hat, Alberta in 2000. My husband Tony, is the love of my life, and my faithfully patient caregiver. We have 3 adult children with families, and they are very supportive and loving. I am truly blessed, despite my health challenges, and I believe my ministry from home is God’s calling for me! I am privileged to share my Faith and bring God’s love whenever possible.
