He, who touches me

When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind Him in the crowd and touched His clock, because she thought “if l just touch His clothes l will be healed”. Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. At once Jesus realised that power had gone out from Him. He turned around in the crowd and asked. “Who touched my clothes”. – Mark 5: 27-30 NIV

This passage is so familiar and profound. It is said the woman, in particular, had gone to seek for help all over and she had gone to the extent of exhausting all her fortune in trying to find help and be healed. She even went to the best physicians in the world but to no avail, until the day she met the Master, the greatest physician of them all, Jesus Christ. What amazed me is that she was healed instantly after the touch from the Saviour and at a no cost.

You might find that when faced with turmoils, frustrations, pains or even loss, that you seek comfort in others, with the hope of feeling whole again. It’s time to quit the game of putting your trust in mere man and come back to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our Faith. He is willing to help you carry on, and all at no cost! He bought us at the price of his own blood and said it is finished.

In them, God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of His mystery, which is Christ in you the hope of glory. – Colossians 1:27 NIV

If anyone has Christ, she has life. No matter the circumstances you find yourself in, refuse to take anything that is contrary to the word of God, for He has perfected all that concerns you. You may have failed but you are not a failure – it’s something you did and not what you are. You are a child of God and a seed of Abraham, you can never be disadvantaged.

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruits in old age, they will stay fresh and green proclaiming the Lord is upright He is my rock and there is no wickedness in Him. – Psalm 92: 12-15 NIV

We serve a mighty God, who mends the broken pieces and make us whole. We are connected to a source that never runs dry. He blesses you even more than one can ever imagine. The life of God in you, destroys any work from the evil one.
