What does God want to give you?

The Grace to Receive takes up that question by following the Israelites out of Egypt. Their journey unfolds in three movements.

At first they are helpless as children, wholly dependent on a salvation only God can work. Then, in the desert, God teaches them identity and covenant: who they are and whose they are.

Finally, they come of age as sons and daughters, ready to conquer and inherit.

Their story turns out to be ours. The growth God worked in them is the growth He is still working in us.
