Being Content

The best piece of advice I have for you is to never give up when you are going through tough times. In life there may be draining circumstances, but never let the challenges of life steal your peace and joy. Seasons are bound to change, and you can find peace in knowing that God will never let the storms of life overcome you, because you were born a winner.

I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at least you have renewed your concern for me indeed you have been concerned but you had no opportunity to show it. I’m not saying this because l’m in need for l have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need and l know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all things through Him who gives me strength. – Phillipians 4: 10-13 NIV

So many people fail to find peace and content during the days of lack and emptiness. It’s important to remember that this too will pass. I often encourage people to rejoice in such circumstances by praising God in the hallway, waiting for Him to take you to the promised land.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, l will fear no evil for you are with me your road and your staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 NIV

You might be in a situation that you think has outlived its sell-by date, so refuse to let it go on by speaking the word of God and having a strong desire for a great change within you. Remember that, no challenge is too big for our Father!

Find peace in all that you are going through by praying that He will deliver you and bring you to a place of rest. Remember He has perfected all that concerns you, and already knows and understands the problems you face. All that you are going through has a solution within you, refuse to give in to the storm.

Endure hardships as discipline, God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father. If you are not disciplined ( and everyone undergoes discipline) then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. More over we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the father of our spirits and live!Hebrews 12:7-9 NIV

In whatever space you find yourself in currently, be content in glorifying God. He is faithful and will see all of us through. Discipline your mind to focus on His word.

For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that have overcome the world even our Faith. 1 John 5:4 NIV
