I gently fold my praying hands
around my precious beads
As thoughts begin to turn to you
Your suffering, hopes and needs.

Quietly I listen
to the rhythm of my prayer
Beads slipping through my fingers
my rosary resting there.

Each decade tells a story
Of the life of our dear Lord
“Behold His Blessed Mother
pondering God’s Word.”

I place you in His loving care
where Peace and Love abound
May blessings fill your loneliness
where sadness now is found.

I pray God’s Grace will touch your day
and nights bring gentle sleep
As He bestows His healing Love
your soul, in Peace, to keep.

In this early morning hour, O God,
I am blessed by the Grace of a new day

Morning by morning You meet me
In this garden of peaceful tranquility

A soft, cool breeze is the balm of Your love
With Sun peeking out through first rays of Dawn.

Over this sleepy world around me
The early chirping of eager little birds

Is tender music upon my heart
For they too, Lord, are your precious little ones.

Now echoing their birdsongs in the stillness
Greeting this new day in Praise of You, their Creator

Indeed, in this Blessed hour, I contemplate Your gift of life to me
Here in this place of solace, comfort, and Holy calm.

I greet this morning hour with a song of Praise upon my lips
In harmony with the melody of all Creation.

I am deeply blessed, O my God,
With a heart of gratitude
Your Grace promises to sustain me through another day., and so,

It is well with my soul …

Where is God when I suffer?
In this silence … I feel so alone.

Does Jesus really hear my prayer?
In this silence … does He truly listen?

How can I know His Presence?
In this silence … when I call on Him?

Slowly, warmth fills my heart
In this silence … God’s Spirit touches me.

Peace enters my being
In this silence … God holds my heart

My prayer is answered
In this silence … He is with me
In this silence … God has come to me.

God is with us in our pain. Look to Him for comfort and healing, and He will be faithful to your prayer.

In the busyness of daily life, we often forget that God made each one of us for a very special purpose. When we walk close to God, every day, we will come to know His will for us, using the gifts and talents He has blessed us with.

“For he will hardly dwell on the shortness of his life because God lets him busy himself with the joy of his heart.” – Ecclesiastes 5:19

My life is but a moment
In the earthly passing of time
All that I have and do and see
Will someday no longer be mine.
Yet in that fleeting moment
I have the chance to be
Someone very special
Who I was created to be.
To care with compassion and kindness
To touch some people with love
And show that God really loves them
Watching over each one from above.
To enjoy the beauty of nature
To fill my heart with a song
So my days will be much brighter
The darkness of night won’t be long.
To climb the mountains together
As we walk through this valley of time
To make this fleeting moment
A God-given treasure of mine.

Revealing your burden of sadness
At the mention of his/her name.

Each teardrop holds a memory
Of a precious time you knew
A special day, a quiet place
Only known to you.

God sees each silent teardrop
He hears your whispered prayer
He shares the heartache you carry
He is with you, even there.

He has His hand upon you
As Peace and calm return
He comforts, consoles, and carries
All who grieve and mourn.

May God’s Blessed Peace bring your heart healing as you grieve with deep sadness, the loss of your loved one.

There is an exceptional quiet
to the Dawn …
As I breathe deeply
of the Peace of God
my heart is stilled once again.

Thank You, Jesus, for the morning,
for the first glimpse of Light
on this desert horizon,
for the gentle coo-ing
of a Mourning Dove
and the whisper of a prayer
from my heart to my lips.

This is my delight
my heart’s true desire:
To share these Holy Moments
of my morning
with You,
my Beloved,
my Jesus.

Dear Lord, as I come to the final days of this difficult year,
I pray You will renew within me, a spirit of Godly Trust,
As I prepare to meet the unknown challenges of the year
Which lies before me now.
Help me find courage in the face of adversity
Compassion in times of loss,
And contentment in the routines of my daily life.
Show me Your Light, so I may follow You each day,
With my Spirit open to Your enlightenment.
Fill me with Your Peace as I place my Hope and Trust
In You alone.
With a heart of gratitude for the Grace and Blessings
You have laid upon my life,
I choose to serve You by lifting up, in love,
Those who pass my way each day.
May this New Year become, for me,
A journey of “Living in Your Light”
Taking time for Scripture reading and sincere prayer
So I can share Your Love and Peace
With those, I love most deeply.

Yes, I have a living testimony
of all that He has done in my life.
Ever-present with His Love, His Comfort, His Peace
renewed each morning
To carry me through another day
carrying my cross
with God’s Strength
and His Heart-Healing Grace.
That I may still smile through my tears
grateful for my Blessings
contemplating the Words of Scripture
And embracing rest, a Holy rest.
All the while living my testimony
of God’s abundant Goodness
In my heart, my home, my family
And yes, my very soul.
